Touring Performance Artist & Singer-Songwriter Adjoa Skinner was born and raised outside of Buffalo, NY but has called Los Angeles home now for 9 years.  After spending two years right out of high school working in Africa she decided to pursue her career as a singer-songwriter in Los Angeles where she spent 7 years performing the club circuit. Discovered by a local booker in Los Angeles, Adjoa held two weekly residencies sponsored by Warner Music & ASCAP until she caught the ear of Grammy Award Winning Producer Charlie Peacock.  Classically & Jazz trained with 25 years of professional experience in music, makes Skinner a sought after performer, teacher, session vocalist and multi-instrumentalist.  She has opened for Grammy Award Winners The Civil Wars, Charlie Peacock, Amy Grant, Beth Hart, Reeve Carney (Spiderman The Musical), John Mayer Guitarist – Zane Carney, Daniel Bedingfield, Jason Joseph, The Voice’s Tony Lucca, American Idol’s Jackie Tohn, Shel and more. Adjoa has performed in North America, Asia, Africa & Europe.
